Björk releases VR video for "Notget"

It's been four months since Björk last teased her virtual reality-vision for her track "Notget", from her ninth studio album, Vulnicura (2015). Only now are we able to see her leading-edge, creative flair be brought to the fore.

The Icelandic singer-songwriter premiered a snippet of the new video at Iceland Airwaves 2016, an annual music festival held in Reykjavik, but the full video is now available to watch on YouTube - sadly, however, not in full VR. Nevertheless, it's still testament to Björk's incredibly forward-looking knack for design, whether it's jumping out at you or not.

The video, directed by Warren Du Preez and Nick Thornton Jones , exhibits an animated Björk avatar dancing in the ocean, embellished in black tentacles and a skin tight, winged suit. "Notget" is just one of a number of tracks on Vulnicura to be given the VR treatment; "Black Lake", "Stonemilker" and "Family" the last from her most recent LP.
